Water chestnuts. Rice.  Sirloin steak.  That’s all I know about it.  Except that it is delicious!

Wednesday Stir Fry – Pork!

Mark, the stir-fry guru, whipped another yummy dinner.  We rarely use pork for stir fry, but it was delicious.

Out of water chestnuts, Mark used extra celery.

Stir Fry

Chicken Stir Fry

Mark is awesome at stir fry.  Great dinner.

He used the last of the mini-broccoli we froze last summer, along with red cabbage, onions, mushrooms, water chestnuts, peanuts, and a green cayenne.  It wasn’t at all spicy (unless you ate a piece of cayenne), but very good, nonetheless.

I know none of the secrets of stir fry, but Mark has mastered them all.  Yeah, Mark!

Stir Fry- beat the Monday blues

Mark fixed dinner- chicken stir fry.  It was too good for words.

We had some rice, too.  It was nice rice.

ImageIn addition to chicken and water chestnuts, Mark used home-grown red cabbage, broccoli, and onions from the freezer.  Also, some hot peppers that he dried from the garden. The sauce was firey and delicious.  Mark is the stir-fry guru; he’s got the sauce-making and the technique perfected.

The power went out just after we sat down to eat, so this was a romantic, candlelit dinner.

We all liked it.  Sean would always prefer fewer vegetables, but good, nonetheless.
