We woke to another snow day. Just when the drifts had melted to something less than knee-height. Snowed in, cold, and ready for summer, we fixed a classic summer meal for dinner tonight.
Chopped steak cooked on the Foreman grill, peas, roasted potatoes (we still have lots of potatoes in the basement), and applesauce. Sounds like summer to me. Well, the Foreman grill is stretching it quite a bit, but we accepted it.
Sean liked dinner. Mark said he thought the same as he always does of chopped steak. What is that? “The bun was missing.” I thought it was good.
