Mark fixed dinner- chicken stir fry. It was too good for words.
We had some rice, too. It was nice rice.
In addition to chicken and water chestnuts, Mark used home-grown red cabbage, broccoli, and onions from the freezer. Also, some hot peppers that he dried from the garden. The sauce was firey and delicious. Mark is the stir-fry guru; he’s got the sauce-making and the technique perfected.
The power went out just after we sat down to eat, so this was a romantic, candlelit dinner.
We all liked it. Sean would always prefer fewer vegetables, but good, nonetheless.
